Meet your Guide: Francesca

Hi I’m Francesca! I was born and raised in Naples, a licensed tour guide and mother of two nearly teenaged children. Living in Naples, such a colorful and often chaotic city, has in some way brought my five senses alive. So when I lead a tour I tell stories about history, culture, local traditions but also about the smells and sounds of the city to stimulate all of your senses. I especially love doing this when I’m in the ancient towns of Herculaneum and Pompeii, where people need a little imaginative push to really smell and hear the urban spaces of the distant past. I’m really grateful to have a job that allows me to always be surrounded by history and art, and my region of Campania offers it all - from prehistoric times to modern urban art! Working with Through Eternity for many years has allowed me to meet people with many different interests and backgrounds, and my best reward is when I know that they will be traveling back home with a bag full of memories that I had a little part in creating!
