Description

We know Paris can be daunting with its world-class museums and almost unparalleled cultural adventures. Our guides at Through Eternity are here to help. Below, we have listed some activities to choose from as part of your tour. In one day we recommend three major activities, however, if you would prefer to spend more time on one, then that is absolutely something that can be arranged.

Here are some highlights that we can offer as part of your day. This is definitely not an exhaustive list. Get in contact, and we will be more than happy to create your bespoke tour:

See World-Class Art at the Louvre Museum

The Mona Lisa, the Venus da Milo and Delacroix’s Liberty leading the people, all highlights in a museum of highlights. Simply the grandest and largest museum on earth and one of the greatest collections of fine art in the world. The Louvre is rightly and clearly on the itinerary of most people. If you want to visit as part of this tour it is important to note that this visit can be customised. If you wanted to see a few major pieces and then head out to explore the rest of the city that is an option. Or if you prefer to really dive deep and spend more time in the museum’s vast collection, our guides will be more than happy to accommodate you.

Explore the Neighborhoods of Paris

Paris is full of charming neighborhoods, each with their own distinct feel and culture. If you are of a literary bent then the university quarter of the Latin Quarter and the coffee shops of Saint Germain should be prioritised to see where Hemingway and F Scott Fitzgerald rubbed shoulders with Picasso and Cole Porter. Montmartre in the north is for those who love the impressionists and is probably the most scenic part of the city, capped by the Sacré-Cœur at the top, with the Moulin Rouge at the bottom. Or perhaps, the old Jewish quarter in the Marais is more to your liking. Charming streets, full of beautiful noble mansions, with a distinctive character and history. These are all great options for your visit to Paris.

Take a Parisian Culinary adventure

Paris would not be the city it is without its famous food. Pastries, street food and high gastronomy are all available here. Michelin-star restaurants and hole-in-the-wall food stops are all over. If you would like to dive into the culinary scene in Paris, then a few hours satisfying your taste buds, led by your Through Eternity guide will definitely not be wasted. Even if you would like to concentrate on other experiences on your day with Through Eternity, your guide will be happy to stop briefly at some local favourite Patisseries or recommend some excellent spots for lunch to scratch your culinary itch.

Explore the Enchanting Musée D’Orsay

Paris has two museums that really stand out for their size and quality. The Louvre, and the Orsay. The Orsay, home to the greatest collection of Impressionist art on earth, is probably a slightly nicer experience than the Louvre, in this writer’s opinion. It is set within a beautiful old train station, airy and nicely laid out. It covers a smaller period of time, making it somewhat more manageable while not sacrificing any quality. For Renoir, Monet or Vincent Van Gogh fans, it doesn’t get better than this. It is definitely a site to consider on any visit to Paris, and it can be included as part of our full-day tour.

Your Tour, Your Way!

Our full-day tour can cover these major sites above and can finish at the Eiffel Tower, which is the perfect cap for your trip to Paris. The Arc de Triomphe, Père-Lachaise cemetery or the Paris Opera house can all be added to the trip. Whatever your Parisian dreams we can open the doors. Reach out today to start planning your dream Parisian vacation.
